Aspen Trail – 10K – Rated 3. Remote start, you will drive approximately 3 miles to start near Aspen Trail. No restrooms, dogs must be leashed. Walk through Portland's spectacular Forest Park, mostly along the Wildwood Trail and other trails. It's hard to imagine that you are so close to, actually in, a major city as you walk through this magnificent gem that is a part of Portland. The walk starts and finishes from a street in the hills of NW Portland with its beautiful homes and views. This is not just another city walk as it allows the walker to experience the feel of the forest within a city. Parts of the trail could be muddy in the rainy season.

This walk takes you through some of Portland's most beautiful and prestigious neighborhoods, around the grounds of the Pittock Mansion, a Portland landmark, onto the Wildwood trail and the Upper Macleay trail then on your way down to more of Portland's beautiful homes. This truly magical walk will give you a feel of a special part of Portland. Strollers and wheelchairs not OK due to stairs. Parts of the trail could be muddy in the rainy season. WOC: Park Trails, Clubs, Multnomah Co. ![]() Views of NW Portland – YRE 0808 - 10K - Rated 2. This is a stimulating walk up into some of NW Portland’s older neighborhoods and with great views of Portland, Mt. Hood and other mountains that make up this beautiful area. Strollers and wheelchairs not OK due to stairs. WOC: Clubs, “L”, Multnomah Co. NATIONAL: River Walks. ![]() Oaks Bottom / Oaks Park - YRE 412 - 10K - Rated 1. Suitable for strollers and may be difficult for wheelchairs. Pets allowed on leash. This route is on paved paths, sidewalks and dirt trails. It is a pretty stroll on the Johnson Creek Trail and Oaks Bottom Nature Area, with a chance to view water fowl and Osprey. Lots of quaint antique shops, boutiques and restaurants near the start point. There are restrooms along the route. Challenges: Antique Shops, Arenas, Artistic Heritage, Firehouses, Lakes, Landmarks, Watering Holes, Waterways, Historic Pioneer Church Museum and Veteran Memorials, Multnomah Co, Railroad Heritage, River Walk, Theaters and Winery & Brewery. ![]()
Crystal Springs - YRE 1532 - 10K - Rated 1+. Route is through the Rhododendron Gardens (there is a $3.00 fee part of the year) and past Eastmoreland Golf Course, through Reed College and residential areas. This walk is especially beautiful in the spring months as the Rhododendrons are in full bloom. No pets allowed in the park. There are antique shops, boutiques and restaurants on the walking route. Challenges: America’s Gardens, Artistic Heritage, Islands, Libraries, Lawn Bowling Lanes, Multnomah Co, Antique Shops, Arenas, Auditoriums, Flowers, Watering Holes and Waterfalls.
![]() Three Bridges - YRE 0873 – 10K - Rated 1+. This route will go across 3 walking bridges connecting up with the Springwater Corridor. Enjoy restaurants, antique shops and boutiques along the walking route. Go past the Eastmoreland Golf Course crossing over McLaughlin Blvd, past a Fire Station. CHALLENGES: Antique Shops, Arches, Firehouses, Libraries, Watering Holes, Waterways, Multnomah Co and Railroad Heritage. Iron Mountain Walk - YRE 1609 - 10K - Rated 2+. Walk along State Street and “A” Street to window shop and look at public art before traveling through some of the older parts of LO. Once up the trail, walkers can view a part of LO not normally seen and great views of Ridgecrest Dr. before going back down the trial to the finish. Iron Mountain railroad once hauled iron down to the old Smelt furnace in Rogers Park.

Walk along the Columbia River, around Hayden Island and Tomahawk Island on paved surfaces and some natural trails. Treat yourself to a beautiful walk along the Columbia River, past several marinas, through a major shopping center, by the mouth watering aromas from many fine restaurants, through several parks and then back to the hotel where you started your adventure. WOC: Lewis & Clark, Club, Multnomah Co. NATIONAL: River Walk, Lewis & Clark. ![]() Hood River Historic Walk - YRE 1607 - 10K - Rated 2+, due to stairs and some hills. This is an all new walk. Walk the Indian Creek trail with magnificent views of Mt Hood and the river. Then down 242 stairs to old town Hood River and the railway station.
